At least the organization made sense, and I was able to access my media. BigScreen said it was because the DivX DLNA was "non-standard". Even though I had media in my libraries, none was visible via BigScreen. It was impossible to configure (like a lot of MS software, the way it is set up makes no sense - at least in the absence of documentation).

I tried the built-in Windows Media Server. Having said that, I have had no luck accessing media on my laptop from BigScreen via DLNA. This file is almost identical to the starting size of the original file. I'll post a bit on the settings I've used. Next, I have found that if I convert my EMBY recordings, and post them to an external share (mapped to EMBY in docker container) that THIS works REALLY WELL!! The original TS recording files are not visible in the Bigcreen player, but EMBY MKV do show up, and they're perfect.

The only way I could play files through DLNA in Bigscreen has been Plex and I really don't like that software, each update of it is a step backward. When I say that I can't play videos is only through DLNA server, because if I copy those same videos to my Quest and play them locally, then they play perfectly on BS, so codec incompatibility is not the problem here. To me, the best way to set up a DLNA server would be with Rclone. All these servers could play well on Skybox, VLC and Pigasus.
